Chandigarh, Dec. 3 -- In a significant policy move, the Haryana Government has approved Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity (DCRG) benefits for employees working in the state's Boards, Corporations, Companies and Cooperative Institutions who are covered under the New Defined Contributory Pension Scheme (NPS).
The decision applies to all personnel who entered service on or after January 1, 2006.
The directive was formally issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, who also serves as Additional Chief Secretary in the Finance Department. His communication has been addressed to the Managing Directors, Chief Administrators and Chief Executive Officers of all concerned state bodies.
