Chandigarh, Sept. 11 -- Haryana has initiated the implementation of the Central Cyber Reporting Portal and National Cyber Crime Helpline Number 1930 to strengthen its fight against cybercrime. This was stated by Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Dr Sumita Misra, today.
Dr Misra said that now citizens can also report incidents of cyber fraud, financial scams, identity theft, and online harassment through the official portal or by calling the helpline number 1930. The move is expected to ensure timely complaint registration, faster police response, and better inter-departmental coordination.
