Chandigarh, Sept. 30 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today strengthened the state's Anganwadi infrastructure by inaugurating 500 renovated Anganwadi centres, built for Rs 15 crore, and 64 new centres, constructed for Rs nine crore.

Speaking at a state-level event in Kurukshetra marking the eighth anniversary of Poshan Maah, Saini unveiled a Poshan Calendar and honoured Anganwadi workers, emphasizing the state's commitment to nutrition, health, and early education for children and women.

Saini extended Durga Ashtami greetings, noting the significance of the event in Kurukshetra.
