Chandigarh, Aug. 24 -- Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Finance Minister Capt Abhimnanyu on Saturday expressed their grief and shock over the sad demise of senior BJP leader and former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who breathed his last at AIIMS in Delhi today.
In a condolence message issued here, Mr Khattar and Capt Abhimanyu said that they are saddened and pained on the demise of Jaitley. He was a great leader, orator, statesman and more than anything a true son of India. An era has ended. The demise of Jaitley is an irreparable loss to BJP and Indian politics, he added.
He said that Arun Jaitley held senior positions with the Party and NDA Government. He remained Union Finance Minister from May 2014 to May 2018....
