Chandigarh, Dec. 3 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday met Canada's High Commissioner to India, Christopher Cooter, in Chandigarh to strengthen bilateral cooperation in employment, energy and investment. During the meeting, both sides agreed that skilled youth from Haryana will be given priority in job opportunities in Canada.
The discussion, held at Sant Kabir Kutir, focused on expanding social and economic ties between Haryana and Canada. Officials said that opportunities in waste-to-energy projects, power generation and the mining sector in Canada are among the areas where Haryana's youth could be engaged.
