Chandigarh, Jan. 7 -- The Haryana Yoga Aayog will organise a statewide Surya Namaskar campaign from January 12 to February 12 to promote yoga. The campaign will begin on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and conclude on the birth anniversary of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati.
To ensure effective implementation, the Ayush Department is conducting training programmes for yoga assistants. Sharing details, a spokesperson for the Haryana Yoga Aayog said that with the support of the Ayush Department, Haryana has created six world records, including a Guinness World Record, through this campaign over the past four years.
