Chandigarh, March 2 -- Haryana police on Sunday announced setting up of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Congress activist Himani Narwal murder case.
Himani's body was found in a suitcase near Sampla bus stand of Rohtak district on Saturday.
Sampla Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajneesh Kumar told the media that a SIT was formed
to investigate the murder. He also said Himani's phone was found and cyber and forensic assistance was being sought to probe the case.
Himani, who had been photographed with present Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi during his "Bharat Jodo Yatra", was pursuing LLB and living in Rohtak whereas her family was residing in New Delhi.
