Hyderabad, March 12 -- Former Minister and BRS MLA T Harish Rao has demanded that the Telangana Assembly's budget session be extended to at least 20 days.
Speaking to the media after attending the Assembly's Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting, Harish Rao said his party had urged the government to allocate sufficient time for discussing crucial public issues.
He accused the Chief Minister of influencing the Speaker to deny the opposition a fair chance to speak. Harish Rao emphasised that BRS should be allotted time in the Assembly in proportion to its numerical strength, which was agreed upon.
