Hyderabad, March 6 -- Telangana Congress MLC Addanki Dayakar on Friday criticised BRS leader T Harish Rao, accusing him of creating unnecessary controversy over the Congress government's advertisements highlighting welfare schemes.
Speaking at a press meet held at Gandhi Bhavan, Dayakar alleged that Harish Rao was making an issue out of routine government publicity while ignoring similar actions taken during the previous BRS regime.
He said public money had earlier been misused for large-scale newspaper advertisements during the BRS government's tenure and even during elections in states such as Punjab and Maharashtra.
