Hyderabad, Nov. 3 -- Telangana Agriculture, Handlooms and Textiles Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao today inaugurated the Gandhi Shilpa Bazaar exhibition organised by the Telangana Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, at the HMDA Grounds.
Speaking at the inauguration, Minister Tummala said that handicrafts exhibitions play a vital role in reflecting India's diverse culture and traditions.
He emphasised the need to protect endangered handicrafts and ensure sustainable livelihoods for artisans through coordinated efforts between the state and central governments.
