Hamirpur, Oct. 17 -- Deputy Commissioner Amarjeet Singh today directed officers to closely monitor instances of child labor and take swift action to eradicate this issue.
At a recent meeting of the District-Level Task Force, established to prevent child labor and enforce the provisions of the Child Labor (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, Singh emphasized the strict measures outlined in the Act to combat child labor. The meeting was held under his chairmanship yesterday.
