Hamirpur (HP), Jan. 16 -- There is a marked difference between the voters registered for the general elections and those for the ongoing Panchayati raj institutions and Civic body elections.
As per the latest figure released by the district administration on Friday, the total number of voters in the district stands at 3,96,317 including 1,94,454 male and 2,01,863 female voters.
The figure shows that 7,146 new voters have been added to the old voter list that was prepared on January 1, 2021.
However, the names of a total of 3,327 people have been removed from these voter lists due to death, leaving the place due to any reason or other reasons.
