Gaza City, Oct. 18 -- Hamas personnel called on the mediating parties on Friday, and urged them to begin the implementation of the remaining steps of the US-brokered ceasefire agreement with Israel, which ended the two year long war in Gaza.

The Palestinian terror group said in a statement that there was a need to complete the formation of a community support committee, which could oversee the administration of the war-torn Strip.

However, the Islamic terror group's demand comes amid its continued delays in repatriating the remains of all the deceased hostages, hindering a follow up on the deal, as Israel has warned the terror group of military retaliation should it not return the deceased hostages- as agreed.
