Cairo, Feb. 20 -- The Palestinian movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad have handed over the bodies of four dead Israeli hostages to the Red Cross, according to a broadcast by Al Jazeera TV channel.
The transfer process took place in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. The Red Cross received the remains of the Bibas family - a mother and two small children - and Oded Lifshits.
Palestinian movements claim that the hostages were victims of Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
