Chennai, Feb. 15 -- Power-packed half centuries by skipper Monank Patel and SanjayKrishnamurthi powered USA to a daunting 199 for four in its last Group A League matchagainst Namibia in the T20 World Cup match at the M A Chidambaram Stadium here onSunday.
USA got off to strong start with the openers adding 68 runs, before Monank and Sanjaybuilding on it as USA scored their highest total in the T20 World Cups and the secondhighest by an Associate Nation after Scotland's 207 for four against Italy a few days back.
It was a strong effort from USA with Monank Patel setting the tone at the top and SanjayKrishnamurthi finishing off in a blistering fashion as Namibia struggled to check the runflow.
