Hailstorm likely in Telangana on Mar 22: Met Department

Hyderabad, March 19 -- The Meteorological Centre has forecasted a hailstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 40-50 kmph in isolated areas across the Nizamabad, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy districts of Telangana on March 22.

In its daily weather report, the Met Centre also predicted thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph in isolated areas of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy districts on March 21.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Telangana on March 21, 22, and 23. Meanwhile, dry weather conditions are expected to prevail on March 20, 24, and 25.
