Ranchi, Sept. 9 -- In a bid to collect accurate data on children aged 3 to 18 years, the Jharkhand Education Project Council has directed all districts to undertake Habitation Mapping ahead of the annual Child Register Survey (Shishu Panji Survey), scheduled to commence in October 2025.
The initiative aims to gather data on the children's enrollment status, dropouts, and unregistered cases for the preparation of the Annual Work Plan and Budget (AWP&B) 2026-27, which will be submitted to the Government of India.
