London, Nov. 3 -- Erling Haaland scored twice as Manchester City moved second in the Premier League with a 3-1 win at home to Bournemouth.

Bournemouth travelled to Manchester second in the table, but was twice undone by a ball behind its high defense, for Haaland to run onto and score with ease on Sunday.

The Norwegian opened the scoring after 17 minutes and put his side back in front in the 33rd minute, after Tyler Adams took advantage of a mistake from goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who made a dreadful mess of coming for a corner in the 25th minute.

Nico O'Reilly scored Manchester City's third goal on the hour to kill off any hopes of a Bournemouth fightback.
