KT Parnaik today flagged off renowned mountaineer Kabak Yano for her ambitious 7-Summit Mountaineering Expedition from Raj Bhavan, here.
The Governor handed over a ceremonial ice axe bearing the Indian flag and the Arunachal Pradesh state emblem to Yano, in presence of Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Kento Jini, and extended financial assistance for her mission.
Describing the moment as historic, the Governor praised Yano's courage and determination, calling it a celebration of conviction and the indomitable spirit to dream beyond boundaries.
