Itanagar, Aug. 29 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik conferred the Governor's citations on the National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports (NIMAS), Dirang, and several distinguished Army units at a solemn ceremony held in Vivekananda Hall of the Raj Bhavan here today.
The honoured units include the 1900 Field Regiment, 2nd Battalion of the Dogra Regiment, 16th Battalion of the Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry, 4 Corps Signal Regiment, 305 Field Hospital, and 667 Army Aviation Squadron.
The awards were presented in recognition of their outstanding professionalism, operational excellence, and for fostering deep bonds of trust and synergy with the local administration and the people of the State.
