Dumka, Aug. 19 -- Jharkhand Governor Draupadi Murmu on Monday inaugurated
the newly constructed Phulo-Jhano Dairy Technical College and also laid the
foundation for constructing the hostel for the students in a function held at Hansdiha
in this district.
Agriculture Minister Randhir Singh, Woman and Child Development Minister Louis
Marandi and Godda MP Nishikant Dubey were also present on the occasion alongwith
Dumka DC Rajeshwari B.
Sisters Phulo-Jhano had played a great role during the Santhal Hul Rebellion
which had took place in 1855 and therefore in their name the first dairy technical
college has been named in the state.
