Shimla, June 4 -- Expressing strong displeasure over the recent developments following the Himachal Pradesh High Court's decision to hand over the probe into the suspicious death of HPPCL Chief Engineer Vimal Negi to the CBI, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Tuesday cautioned against casting doubts on Central agencies.

"Raising questions on any Central agency is not healthy for any state. All investigating institutions must be allowed to function independently. Premature allegations before an investigation even begins are deeply concerning," said the Governor during a media interaction at Raj Bhawan.
