Kohima, Sept. 27 -- Nagaland governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla lauded the Nagaland Bharat Scouts and Guides (NBSG) for instilling a sense of adventure, service, and integrity among the younger generation.

He was speaking at the NBSG induction and award ceremony at Raj Bhavan in Kohima today. Bhalla was inducted as the chief patron of the NBSG at the programme.

Reaffirming his support as the chief patron, the governor assured close cooperation with officials, leaders, and volunteers to expand the reach of the movement across all districts of the state.

Bhalla congratulated the five Scouts and 11 Guides who received the Rajya Puraskar (Governor's Award), the highest recognition for Scouts and Guides at the state level.
