New Delhi, Jan. 6 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday paid tribute to the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur, in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, describing his life and sacrifice as timeless symbols of courage, truth and human values.
Addressing the House, the Chief Minister said Guru Tegh Bahadur's legacy goes beyond any one community or era and represents the protection of India's shared culture and civilisational values. She said limiting Guru Tegh Bahadur to a single faith would diminish his towering contribution to history, adding that he was among the greatest protectors of religious freedom and human dignity.
