Chandigarh, Aug. 20 -- A grocery store owner, Ravi Kumar, was fatally shot by two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle in Dera Baba Nanak, Gurdaspur district, Punjab, on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred as Ravi was about to step out of his car near his home after closing his shop. A social media post, purportedly by gangster Shera Mann, claimed responsibility for the killing, alleging involvement of a local police officer. However, UNI has not independently verified this claim.
