Chandigarh, March 5 -- In a daring daylight robbery that has sent shockwaves throughout Gurdaspur, a group of five armed men disguised in traditional Nihang Sikh attire looted valuables worth approximately Rs 7 crore from the residence of a prominent jeweller on Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 8:00 am at the home of Varun Mahajan, located in the Scheme Number 5 area on Jail Road. The assailants not only decamped with a massive quantity of gold jewellery and cash but also stole the family's SUV to aid their escape.
