Bengaluru, Feb. 21 -- Actor, pilot, and social advocate Gul Panag, who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Chandigarh, urged students at the Alliance Literature Festival 2026 to view politics as a broader social responsibility, not just electoral participation.

Speaking at Alliance University on Saturday, she stressed that politics is present in everyday life and encompasses people, power, influence, and societal decision-making.
