New Delhi, Nov. 3 -- The Gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue for October increased by 4.6 percent to Rs 1,95,936 crore from Rs 1,87,346 crore for the same month last year, reflecting continued economic resilience, strong festive consumption and effective compliance, an official spokesman said today.

''The sharp rise in GST collections in the onset of the recent GST rate rationalisation in September points to sustained consumption recovery, broadening tax base and robust fiscal health placing India on a stable trajectory for the remainder of FY 2025-26,'' the spokesman said.
