Jaunpur (UP), Sept. 27 -- Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Sports and Youth Welfare (Independent Charge) Girish Chandra Yadav today said that under the "next generation" Goods and Services Tax (GST) Reform 2.0, savings will rise and every section of society will directly benefit.

Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his Independence Day address from the Red Fort on August 15, announced major changes in GST, describing them as a "Diwali gift" that would simplify compliance for taxpayers and businessmen and reduce the prices of essential commodities.
