Lucknow, Sept. 24 -- BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said today that the GST reform was a landmark decision for the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The reforms would bring about a major change in the country's economy in the future, he added.
Speaking to media at the BJP office in Lucknow, Trivedi said GST 2.0 will lead to economic empowerment of every section.
Trivedi said those who called GST a political decision were wrong. "They should step away from their political ideology and appreciate it," he said.
Responding to a question, Trivedi said the government was working to make the new GST rates accessible to the public.
