Nagrota Bagwan, Feb. 24 -- The Sub-Office of the Joint Commissioner, GST Northern Region, Tax Audit Unit (Palampur), was inaugurated at Nagrota Bagwan by R. S. Bali, Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation and Vice-Chairman (Cabinet Rank) of the Tourism Development Board.
Addressing the gathering, Bali said that GST audit work for six districts - Chamba, Kangra, Nurpur, Hamirpur, Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti - will now be conducted from Nagrota Bagwan. He termed it a matter of pride for the constituency and said the office would accelerate development in the region while providing administrative convenience and economic benefits to local residents.
