Shimla, Nov. 30 -- The investigation into the Bhattakufar chowk land subsidence entered a crucial phase on Saturday as a team from the Geological Survey of India (GSI) visited the affected site above the under-construction twin-tube tunnel on the Mehli-Dhalli four-lane project, where a portion of the road had caved-in last week.
The team had arrived in Shimla on Friday evening and carried out an initial inspection at 7:00 PM, followed by a detailed examination on Saturday morning in the presence of the district administration.
