Lucknow, Dec. 13 -- The trend of senior IAS officers from the Uttar Pradesh cadre opting for voluntary retirement (VRS) and resignation shows no signs of abating.
In recent years, nearly a dozen IAS officers have left the service, and this number is expected to increase in the coming months. However, the state government has not yet issued its response to the development.
The latest case involves Anamika Singh, a 2004 batch IAS officer, who has applied for VRS, as per a senior official who said her application is under process. The official also clarified that Anamika Singh had not applied for Central deputation.
