Bhubaneswar, Jan. 29 -- Odisha has the potential to create approximately 10 lakh new full-time equivalent (FTE) jobs across three green sectors: energy transition, circular economy, and bio-economy, along with nature-based solutions.
According to a study by the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), these three green sectors could attract investments worth Rs.3.5 lakh crore by 2030.
The CEEW study was launched on Wednesday at the 'Utkarsh Odisha - Make in Odisha Conclave' in Bhubaneswar by Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary of the Planning and Convergence Department, Anu Garg.
