New Delhi, March 25 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today presented her government's second Budget in the Assembly, laying out a roadmap to transform the national capital into a modern, inclusive, safe and environmentally sustainable city.

The Budget for 2026-27 has been pegged at Rs 1,03,700 crore, marking an increase of Rs 3,700 crore as compared to the previous year, with an annual growth of 3.7 per cent.

It is noteworthy that this is Delhi's first dedicated 'Green Budget', with 21.44 per cent of the total outlay, that is Rs 22,236 crore earmarked for environmental protection and sustainable development.
