Hyderabad, Jan. 1 -- : The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will inaugurate a newly constructed bridge across the Hussain Sagar surplus nala near Ashok Nagar in the city on Friday, marking the first bridge inauguration by the civic body in the New Year. Constructed at a cost of 6 crores , the bridge provides a direct link between City Central Library, Ashok Nagar, and AV College, Gaganmahal, and is expected to significantly improve connectivity in the central parts of the city.
GHMC officials said the project would benefit daily commuters, students, and residents by offering a safer and shorter route.
