Ranchi, Nov. 6 -- A grand Nagar Parishad building and the rejuvenation of the iconic Rambandh pond are set to transform the urban landscape of Garhwa town.

The Urban Development and Housing Department has finalized the implementing agency, and construction work is expected to begin soon under the supervision of JUDCO (Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company Limited).

The Rambandh pond, located in the heart of Garhwa and often referred to as the town's "lifeline," will be fully restored to its natural state. To prevent contamination from sewage, a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) will be established to ensure that only clean water flows into the pond.
