Ranchi, Sept. 30 -- The capital city of Jharkhand is preparing for a spectacular Dussehra celebration at Morabadi Maidan on October two, with elaborate arrangements already underway.

This year, the highlight will be the burning of a towering 70-feet effigy of Ravan, accompanied by a 65-feet Kumbhkaran and a 60-feet Meghnad.

Adding to the grandeur, a specially designed 30x30 feet "Golden Lanka" will also be set ablaze, promising a visual spectacle for thousands of onlookers.

The preparations have been carried out by a team of 21 artisans from Gaya district, who have dedicated nearly a month to craft these effigies.
