Hyderabad, Dec. 18 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday predicted that the verdict of the recently held Gram Panchayat (GP) elections would be repeated in the 2029 Assembly elections.
Addressing a press conference at his residence in Jubilee Hills, the Chief Minister said the Congress had achieved excellent results in the three-phase GP polls and thanked party workers for their hard work.
He said that out of 12,702 Gram Panchayats, the Congress won 7,527 seats, while Congress rebels secured 808 seats, taking the total Congress-backed victories to 8,335 panchayats, accounting for about 66 per cent of the total.
