Patna, May 27 -- Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey said that his department has initiated extensive preparations to address the health-related issues given the possible flood and drought-like situation across the state.
Pandey told news persons here on Tuesday that instructions have been issued to take preventive measures against flood-related diseases, water-borne epidemics, diarrhoea, and dysentery in the state. The officials have also been asked to provide proper medical facilities in case of emergency and to maintain continuous availability of medicines.
