Pune, Aug. 2 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar today assured that the state government would present a strong case in court to seek relaxation of restrictions, especially on the use of loudspeakers, which have significantly impacted the celebration of Ganeshotsav in the state.

He made this statement during an award ceremony organised by the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Public Ganpati Trust and Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal, as part of the National Ganesh Festival Competition, where he distributed prizes to Ganesh mandals from Pimpri-Chinchwad city.
