Hyderabad, Jan. 6 -- Telangana Revenue, Housing, and Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Tuesday assured that the government would rectify the unscientific reorganisation of mandals, revenue divisions, and districts carried out during the tenure of the previous rulers.
Responding to questions raised by members Rammohan Reddy, Veeresham, Palyai Harish, and others during Question Hour in the Legislative Assembly, the Minister said the earlier reorganisation was done in an arbitrary and haphazard manner.
He pointed out that in some constituencies, four mandals were placed in four different districts, creating serious administrative and public inconvenience.
