Mumbai, Feb. 20 -- The Maharashtra government will build a grand memorial of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Agra of Uttar Pradesh, announced Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Agra on Thursday.

Speaking at the 'Shivjanmotsav Bharatvarsh Ka' programme organized by Ajinkya Devgiri Pratishthan in Agra on occasion of Shiv Jayanti, he said that the Maharashtra government will acquire the land in present Meenabazar area where Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was kept in Ram Singh Kothi in Agra and will build a grand memorial of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj there.

He said that he will discuss about this with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. UNI VKB SS
