Lucknow, Feb. 28 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said that the Uttar Pradesh government should make arrangements to find and send the missing people home along with compensating the families of the victims of the stampede at Sangam bank from the earnings from the Maha Kumbh.
In a statement issued here, Alhilesh said that as per the Yogi government's claim, the Maha Kumbh has brought several lakh crores of rupees to the state's economy. "The government should make arrangements to compensate the families of the deceased and provide better treatment to the injured from the money earned. Some money from this should be saved to find and send home the thousands of people who are missing," he said.
