New Delhi, May 28 -- The government has notified Rules under the Inter-Services Organisations (Command, Control & Discipline) Act 2023 with an aim to bring greater jointness and Command efficiency in Armed Forces.

The Rules notified through a Gazette Notification came into effect from May 27, 2025, a Defence Ministry statement said on Wednesday.

This significant step aims to bolster effective command, control, and efficient functioning of Inter-Services Organisations (ISOs), thereby strengthening jointness among the Armed Forces.
