New Delhi, Aug. 20 -- Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said that the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has issued a notice to the non-governmental organisation Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) for sharing incorrect data on social media regarding the Maharashtra elections.
Pradhan, while addressing the Indian Institutes of Management Bill in the Rajya Sabha amid Opposition uproar over the issue of electoral roll revision, said that Opposition members are disrupting the proceedings of Parliament based on such misleading data.
He said that CSDS shared these figures with vested interests to spread confusion and has issued an apology after the data was found to be incorrect.
