Hamirpur (HP), Feb. 2 -- Union Minister for Information Broadcasting and Sports and Youth Affairs, Anurag Thakur has said that the Modi government has taken special care of the Sports and Youth Ministry in the Union Budget for the financial year 2023-24.
In a statement released by the BJP here today, Thakur expressed gratitude to Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for such a pro-youth budget.
Thakur said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to promote sports and sports persons. In this Union Budget, the Modi government has increased the budget of the Ministry of Youth and Sports from Rs.3062.50 crore (Budget Estimate 2022-23) to Rs. 3397.32 crore Budget Estimate (2023-24).
