Raipur, July 16 -- The government came under friendly fire in the Chhattisgarh Assembly today, the third day of the Monsoon Session.
During the Question Hour, Sunil Soni, Rajesh Munat, and Ajay Chandrakar (all Bharatiya Janata Party) raised the issue of cybercrime.
"People are constantly being duped by cyber thugs in the state. No cyber specialist is being appointed. Citizens are unaware of the location of cyber police stations. According to National Crime Records Bureau statistics, in excess of 16,000 crimes have been registered," Soni said.
