Motihari, July 18 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said that his government was continuously focussing on development for the past 20 years and made every effort to transform the state.

Addressing a massive public rally here in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kumar recalled the condition of Bihar under previous governments and said that after coming to power on November 24, 2005, the NDA government gave top priority to development.

Speaking about the state's annual budget during the RJD regime, he said it was just Rs 24,000 crore, but now it has increased to more than Rs 3 lakh crore.
