Bhubaneswar, May 25 -- Odisha Minister for Sports Suryavanshi Suraj has said that the government is committed to giving the state a special identity in the world of sports,

"We are working to take Odisha's sportspersons to the world and make world-class sports infrastructure available in every block of Odisha," said Suraj.

Inaugurating a new sports training centre at Pragati Sporting on Saturday, the Minister said strong sports infrastructure, proper training and selection, and spotting and honing of s talent are essential for the overall development of sports and sportspersons.
